From Nature. Pictures formed using colourful crumbs of glass (Frit).
Badger. My first picture. A commission.
Kingfisher. This used a blue glass which turns metallic in the presence of air in the kiln. It can be seen between his wings and on his beak.
Poppy & Bluebell. About 12cm across with colours and form built up over several firings in the kiln.

Dichroic Glass. Beautiful colour shifts.
Small Dish 12cm across. Using cmall chips of dichroic film on clear glass.
The range of colours reflected are beautiful.
Made from a single layer of clear glass with the dichroic chips fused into it before shaping.

The dichroic on black glass was carefully cut into strips before being arranged and fused into the clear glass disc.
So many colours can be seen in the glass.

Small balls glass in earthy colours fused together as round then slumped into a bowl.
36 ring beads fused on to a piece of clear glass.
Ring beads with colours randomly placed on clear glass then fused into one thick piece of glass. About 9″ square.
Ring bead piece further slumped into a bowl shape.
The light plays beautifully with this bowl.
Using a reactive Bullseye glass – it starts off clear and gains this translucency on firing.
Small kiln formed balls of glass, fused together as a flat disc then slumped to form a simple bowl.
The light through this piece is beautiful.
I have likened this effect to snail eggs!
